FBLA Members to Attend NLC in Baltimore
Bryan Zutavern, the newly selected Nebraska State FBLA Parliamentarian, Heidi Saner, Jacy Hafer and Emily Martindale have all qualified to attend the National Leadership Conference in Baltimore the end of June. Heidi will be competing in Journalism and Emily will be competing in Spreadsheet Applications. Heidi and Jacy will also be recognized for achieving the highest level of the Community Service Award. Both girls accumulated over 500 hours of community service. Heidi and Emily will serve as local voting delegates and Bryan will be a state voting delegate.
Besides competing, the students will have the opportunity to tour Fort McHenry, attend Medieval Times, and go to a Baltimore Orioles baseball game. In addition, they will hear great speakers and attend seminars in the area of business, entrepreneurship, job interviewing and technology.
