Sandhills FBLA Represented at NLC in San Antonio
Carlie Collier, Miriam Ganoung, Bryan Zutavern and Mrs. Rogers attended the FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, TX June 28-July 2. The quartet left and June 27 and returned on July 3. Miram competed in Word Processing and Carlie and Bryan were recognized for receiving the Achievement Level of the Community Service Award. The chapter was also recognized as a Gold Seal Award of Merit and also Outstanding FBLA Chapter. In addition, Sandhills received 2nd Place in Market Share in Mountain Plains Region.
In addition, Carlie and MIriam were local voting delegates and helped elected the 2019-2020 National Officers. They also attended seminars and watched the Nebraska delegation compete in performance events. The Sandhills delegation also were able to spend some time at Sea World, the River Walk, the Alamo, Dave and Busters, the Old Market and also the Tower of the Americas.
Everyone made new friends and had a great time!
