2024 MNAC Art Show

Sandhills students had an excellent showing at the MNAC Art Show held in Arnold on April 26. Caleb Furrow received Best of Show in the high school division for his colored pencil drawing of a chinchilla. Paizley Zutavern received Best of Show in the junior high division for her acrylic painting entitled “City At Night.”

The Sandhills Junior High students received enough top placings to be awarded the MNAC Junior High Best Artistry award for having the most overall points as a team. The Sandhills High School students placed third overall in team points.

Junior high students Paizley Zutavern, Mattee Zutavern, and Eli Brogdon earned First Team All Conference certificates for their individual scores, and Tyla Held and Cesar Chavez achieved Second Team. In high school, Charlsie Teahon and Caleb Furrow both received First Team All Conference awards.
