🔥🐻 Fire Prevention Week at the Elementary School! 🚒
We wrapped up Fire Prevention Week on Friday with a very special visit from Smokey Bear! Our students loved learning about fire safety and the importance of preventing wildfires. 🌲🔥
A BIG thank-you to Smokey Bear and the Nebraska National Forest Wildfire Team for taking the time to visit our school, share important lessons, and help teach our students how to be safe and responsible when it comes to fire prevention.

Congrats to the Lady Knights on their 2nd place finish today at the Arcadian/Loup City tournament. The girls beat Gibbon 2-0 and then Arcadia Loup City in 2 sets. The Knights then took on an incredibly tough #1 Centura (C2) in the final and lost 0-2. The girls played so well! Congrats again!
Next up, MNAC week starting with Thedford hosting first round on Thursday vs. Arthur in game 2 of the evening (approx. 5:30 or sooner).

Catch the Lady Knights today in Loup City!

Thank you to the Booster Club for doing this activity! Check it out, next Tuesday!!

The Knights are back in action in Thedford TONIGHT!

What a great week to be a Knight!
Sandhills Middle Schoolers Lead the Way in Digital Citizenship! 📱✨
Six of our middle school leaders traveled to ESU 10 in Kearney for the Nebraska Digital Citizenship Symposium with Dr. Kristen Mattson! 💡
Moving beyond basic screen-time tips, the team dug into how algorithms, curated feeds, and persuasive design secretly shape how we think, feel, and interact online.
Now, they’re bringing those insights home to launch the Beyond-the-Screen Project—a student-led campaign featuring short films, video modules, engaging classroom resources, and actionable strategies for healthier tech boundaries right here at Sandhills.
Way to take the steering wheel, Knights! Stay tuned to see their campaign roll out across our school community. 💻👏
