February 9-14th is FBLA week. To help kick off the conversation about FBLA, the students wore their FBLA shirts today! So what is FBLA? FBLA stands for Future Business Leaders of America. It is a non-profit organization that helps prepare students for future careers in business. Our FBLA program helps raise awareness and donations for different organizations such as the March of Dimes organization, the Feed Nebraska project, the going green challenge, breast cancer awareness, connecting with local businesses and so much more! If you want to know more about FBLA, one of our members would be glad to talk to you!

Today Sandhills FFA members, Ella Held and Cora Martindale visited the Kindergarten classroom to read a fun book about potatoes! The kindergarteners expressed that they loved all kinds of potatoes and celebrated with a snack of potato chips! Ella and Cora also taught the kids about how potatoes grow and the importance of potatoes throughout history!

The results are in! The following teachers will be receiving a pie in the face on February 11th! Elementary: Mr. Recoy and Mrs. Bradley High School: Mr. Recoy, Mr. Trosper, and Ms. Milleson (All 3 reached $100+) Thank you everyone for your kind donations! We raised $507.74 to be donated to the March of Dimes organization!

Junior High Basketball Parents, tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 10th games in Brady will use both gyms. At 1:00pm Girls 'A" in new gym followed by Boys 'A' game. At 1:00pm Boys 'B' game in old gym followed by the Girls 'B' game. Both 'B' games will play 2 quarters with a running clock.
