Check out this summer opportunity for summer meals!
What is Summer EBT?
Summer EBT provides an extra $120 per school-aged child for groceries during summer break. Last year, this program helped over 175,000 Nebraskan children access nutritious food while they were out of school!
Check to see if you’re eligible for Summer EBT
You are eligible if your household is at or under 185% of federal poverty guidelines. Most eligible families on SNAP, ADC, FDPIR, or Medicaid are automatically enrolled, but others (like you!) may qualify too. Check here bit.ly/NE-SEBT-eligibilitychecker to see if you are eligible and need to sign up. It’s quick and easy.
Sign up for Summer EBT today!
You can sign up at bit.ly/NE-SEBT-application.

The 3rd and 4th graders learned so much and had a lot of fun on their field trip Thursday! Custer Public Power was awesome with virtual goggles of a nuclear power plant, a coal power plant, and standing on top of a wind turbine as well as many other demonstrations! Broken Bow Wind let them go out to see a blade they repaired and out to a turbine turned off then they turned it on so the kids could experience it all!
*Student quotes: “Today is ranked a 5.5 out of 5!” and “Today was such a luxurious day!”
