Sandhills Shark Tank: Ag vs. Business 2025
The kids had another successful year with their entrepreneurial creations! The Ag & Business students worked throughout the semester on new product ideas that they could take to the Sharks. Huge thank you to our teachers who are always so encouraging to the kids and create some of the best "Sharks"! Here are the results:
Shaylee, Thatcher, Cora -- SafeCore -- Made a deal with Mrs. Rodgers for $300,000 for 7.5% equity.
Connor, Colton, Aaron -- SHL Trailer Co. -- Made a deal with Mrs. Zimmerman for $50,000 for 20% equity.
Josie, HayLynn -- Happy Hips -- Made a deal with Mrs. Greene for $130,000 and 10% equity.
Peyton, Alex -- EZ Grip -- Made a deal with Mrs. Rodgers for $80,000 for 15% equity.
Dunning this Thursday, December 11th and Monday, December 15th.
On both days...
Students will be released from Dunning at 3:30.
Students being picked up in Halsey will be there at 3:45.
The store will close on December 22nd.

🏀All proceeds will benefit the high school boy's basketball program.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska introduced the Healthy Home Team program in 2024—an initiative designed to provide funding to high schools statewide for projects that promote physical and mental well-being.
Sandhills was proud to be selected as one of 97 high schools to receive this grant earlier this year and has since been awarded an additional $5,000 to further enhance its project: the installation of a sand separator to improve the school’s water system.
Thank you to all of you who participated in the video, Sandhills is a pretty special place.
