On Monday, July 27 2026 at10:00 a.m., a nonpublic consultation meeting will be held at Sandhills Public Schools. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for parents and representatives of non-public schools to participate in the development of a plan providing special education services to children with disabilities who attend non-public school and home schools within the Sandhills Public Schools boundaries.

Coach Gage Haake and the high school football boys are putting on a 1 day football camp here in Thedford on Friday, August 7th! 🙌 $10/kid and all proceeds go back to the HS football program! Registration and release of liability forms are due the day of camp. Kids will not be able to participate without a completed/signed form! No exceptions!

Sandhills/Thedford Knights Football team hosted EPIC camp in Dunning. Thanks to the coaches, Basketball Girls and Parents for helping make this camp a success!
Dallas Lewandowski official last day at ESU is today! Dallas has been our ESU Teaching and Learning partner for the past 14 years. Thank you, Dallas, for helping us improve our literacy program for our students and school. Your leadership and knowledge you have shared will be greatly missed.

2025-2026 REIMBURSEMENT RATES:
The Nebraska Department of Education has set the 2025 state mileage rate at $0.70 per mile.
Regular Resident Students: $1.9950 per mile (285% of the state rate).
Enrollment Option Students: $0.9975 per mile (142.5% of state rate).
Note: Enrollment option students must qualify for free lunch to be eligible.
✅ SUBMISSION CHECKLIST:
To ensure your claim is approved, your form must include:
Student Names: List all students transported.
Daily Logs: Specific dates and total miles traveled (calculated for distances over 3 miles).
Signature: A signed statement confirming the report is true and correct.

All yearbooks purchased by May 29, 2026, will be shipped to the school for free. Any orders placed after this date will be shipped to your home for a $6.99 shipping fee. Parents can also create a custom page just for their child.
