Yesterday twenty Sandhills Agriculture Students traveled to Valentine to participate in District Range Judging. The plant line and ecological sites offered some great learning opportunities for students. Congrats to Paizley Zutavern, Heath Larsen, Rafe Larsen, and Zara Anderson for receiving green ribbons, The team of Heath, Rafe, Zara and Charlie Smith placed 11th out of 47 teams! A big thanks to Zutavern Ranch and our local NRCS for providing land and resources for practice!

Notice Menu change: On September 3rd for lunch we will be having Cheeseburgers, Chips and Baked Beans. On September 14th we will have Hot Ham and Cheese, Cheesy Green Beans, Tri Tators.
Sandhills elementary, junior high, and high school art students have artwork on exhibit at the State Fair in Grand Island. Look for it in the Bosselman Conference Center, which is on the south side of the Bigiron Events Center. The art display is part of the "Open Class Education Department." All of the art students from last year have a piece on display. If you go to the fair, be sure to check it out!
