Teachers at the high school are handing out cards to students that are an example of the mission on what it means to be a KNIGHT! Then the cards are put into a hat and drawn at the end of the month for a winner!
In January, the reward was lunch delivered to the school from Anthem Coffee! Thank you Anthem Coffee, Paizley enjoyed her coffee and lunch!

All Sandhills/Thedford 3rd through 6th grade girls are invited to signup to be part of our youth league. The goal is to have at least one 3rd/4th grade team and one 5th/6th grade team.

On February 11th Sandhills FFA members attended Career Development Events in North Platte. The group of Mattee, Paizley, Tyla and Sophia participated in Vet Science with Paizley receiving a red ribbon. The Vet Science competition consisted of identification of animal breeds, parasites, and vet equipment, as well as a written test.
The group of Sophia, Heath and Hunter participated in AgriScience where they identified parts of a dissected fetal pig and perch and also did a written test. Sophia received a blue ribbon, Heath and Hunter received Red Ribbons. AgriScience is a contest that they will also be able to participate in at state FFA convention.

Sandhills families, we understand that illness has been affecting our students. Please keep your child home if they have a fever. Students may return to school once they have been fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication.
