Sandhills elementary, junior high, and high school art students have artwork on exhibit at the State Fair in Grand Island. Look for it in the Bosselman Conference Center, which is on the south side of the Bigiron Events Center. The art display is part of the "Open Class Education Department." All of the art students from last year have a piece on display. If you go to the fair, be sure to check it out!

Friday Night Under the Lights in Hyannis!
Yesterday seven Sandhills FFA members who have an interest in the meat industry attended Steers for Students at Ord Locker! Students got to see the process of beef harvest from beginning to end, learn from a professional in the meat industry as well as a USDA meat inspector. Events like this help students appreciate where their food comes from, the importance of good animal care and nutrition, and gain an appreciation for the people who work hard to put a safe product in our freezers and on our tables. Thank you to Herb Hall for your beef donation to our school, which also made it possible for us to attend this event!
