Launch the media gallery 1 player - media #9On May 9th the 4th Grade class traveled to Kearney to participate in “Stellar Teller” Day sponsored by the Nebraska Council on Economic Education. The guest speaker was Nebraska author Julia Cook, who shared her book I Am Money and other financial tips including we are not too young to start a business. We also had competitions to see who could count money the fastest. We even received a copy of Julia’s book! Michelle Milleson with Western Nebraska Bank joined us and awarded us all with teller awards. McKenna received the Stellar Teller Award due to her excellent customer service. Then we toured the Archway Monument. It was great to see everything we have studied in Nebraska History come to life. It was a great day!!
